GZ Media introduces new visual identity and logo.

GZ Media has introduced its new visual style, highlighted by new modernized logo. It also includes a new corporate typeface. The updated identity is already visible in the company's digital communications, Christmas visuals, employees´ magazine Gramofonek and company´s materials. In the near future, the company’s website, www.gzmedia.cz, will undergo a comprehensive update, featuring not only a new design but also content within modern communication formats.

This is us, GZ.

GZ Media collaborated with the Zlín-based creative agency Little Greta to develop the new visual style. “For quite some time, we’ve felt that our old logo was nearing the end of its life and that the company’s presentation, both internally and externally, needed a change. The main goal was to ensure that both the logo and our visual identity represent us well while meeting our needs,” said Michal Štěrba, CEO of GZ Media, about the change. He added, “I believe that the new logo design, accompanied by the claim Emotions. Materialized., and our new visual style clearly reflect who we are, what we stand for, and what we do. It honors our tradition while showcasing that we are a strong, modern, and innovative company which across our facilities in Europe and North America, we produce a wide range of products for customers in the music and packaging industries.”

The GZ Media logo is built on four strong pillars: the letters GZ with rounded and sharp contours, the blue color, color variations for the company’s two business areas—Music and Print & Packaging—and the accompanying claim, Emotions. Materialized. The foundation of the new corporate visual identity is a blue gradient. The new corporate font is Poppins.

A Modernized and Story-based Logo

The new logo is built on the letters GZ, referencing the Gramofonove zavody founded in 1951 and their rich and successful history. The "Gramofonka" laid the foundation for what GZ Media is today—what it represents and stands for. However, the company has significantly expanded. Now, it is a modern company built on the golden hands, ideas, passion, and skills of its employees, whether in Europe or North America. The modern aspect, along with a connection to the shape of the products from both main production branches, is represented by the clean design of the GZ letters. These letters connect the company’s rich history with its successful future.

The primary version of the logo features a blue gradient. This deliberately references to the past logos, which (almost) always included blue color, and the village of Lodenice, where the company has been based for over 70 years. Equally important, blue symbolizes stability, tradition, commitment, and trust. Trust is a key element in our collaboration with customers, partners, employees, and the public. It is the foundation upon which we build relationships, whether through producing high-quality products, offering innovative solutions, or delivering exceptional service. This also includes supporting technical education and nonprofit organizations through our foundation.

The new logo includes two additional color variants specifically designed for the company’s two main production pillars—Music and Print & Packaging. These variants reflect the characteristic elements of their respective sectors: colorful granules for the material used to produce vinyl records and printing inks.

A fundamental part of the new logo is the claim Emotions. Materialized. This highlights the company’s vision: transforming pure emotions into beautiful, practical, and high-quality products that bring joy to people.
We believe that the new logo and visual identity will serve us well and get popularity among our employees, customers, partners, and the broader public as well.

GZ. Emotions. Materialized.
